How the money works
Every product is priced at Printful's fulfillment cost plus a $10 markup. That $10 is split three ways:
Example: a shirt with a $22 Printful cost sells for $32. You earn $8 per unit sold — flat, no percentage games.
Is the $8 per item or per order?
Per item. If a customer orders 3 shirts with your design, you earn $24. Commissions are calculated on fulfilled, paid orders — refunded items are excluded.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. You retain full copyright. We license your design for use on Rebels & Rights products only. You can sell your design elsewhere — just not on competing POD platforms in the same niche.
What file format do you need?
PNG at 300dpi minimum (5000px wide preferred), or vector SVG/AI/PDF. Transparent background. CMYK or RGB — we handle color conversion.
How long does review take?
7 business days. We review every submission personally and respond to everyone.
Can I submit multiple designs?
Up to 5 designs per application. We evaluate each one separately.
What themes do you accept?
Feminist, LGBTQ+, racial justice, economic justice, climate, labor rights, immigrant rights, disability justice, protest culture. No partisan political (no candidate names or parties), nothing that punches down.
How do I get paid?
Monthly by the 10th via PayPal, Venmo, or bank transfer. You'll receive a commission statement each month showing every sale and total owed. No minimum payout threshold.
What if my design doesn't sell?
No penalties, no fees. If a design isn't moving after 90 days, we'll reach out to discuss whether to refresh the mockups, adjust pricing, or retire it. You always have input.
